Damage Prevention Agents input and process locate requests electronically and telephonically using the client data input systems. Agents communicate daily with customers and members, while providing the best service in damage prevention and public safety.
DPAs can anticipate 60-70 inbound calls daily and 15-30 ountbound (follow-up, more information needed) calls daily.
There are 3 full-time and 1 part-time shifts available: Mon-Wed, Sat, Sun 7am-4pm; Mon-Wed, Sat, Sun; Mon-Fri 10am-7pm; PT. Mon-Fri 4pm-9pm.
Orientation will last for 2 weeks and will be broken down in to 2 daily classes. The class schedules are: Mon-Fri 8am-1: 30pm; Mon-Fri 2pm-7: 30pm
This will be part-time for the first 2 weeks before they are moved to the floor for their training period where they can expect to be shadowing and participating on calls.
This " training period" typically lasts about 90 days before agents are moved onto a team with a direct supervisor.
