Business Operations Analyst - Plano, TX
The Consultant - Supplier Relations is responsible for managing the relationship with Companys IT Outsourcing Providers. This includes both Application Maintenance Services (AMS) and Infrastructure Maintenance Services (IMS) governance. The ideal team member will oversee and provide the guidance to the internal and suppliers leadership teams that is necessary to help our suppliers deliver the most business value to these teams. The goals are to produce a positive customer/supplier relationship, optimize contractual value, and deliver measurable value to the business.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain diligent oversight of all AMS/IMS supplier interactions to ensure service integrity with regards to:
  • Contract Administration - Ensure AMS/IMS contractual commitments are met Performance Management - Ensure accurate performance metrics are reported,
  • Promote continuous improvement, Hold suppliers accountable to deliver against their performance goals
  • Relationship Management - Ensure a positive relationship, set direction
  • Financial Management - Validate and manage cost related to the AMS/IMS contracts Compliance and Risk Management  - Monitor and manage risks, ensure Company policies, processes and procedures are followed
  • Collect and utilize relevant and accurate data to support data driven, fact-based decisions
  • Standardize controls, processes, tools, and templates to drive predictable outcomes
  • Host formal customer/supplier meetings to prioritize actions and focus on the appropriate topics
  • Collaborate with and collect feedback from the management team for each functional area to ensure supplier engagements are meeting expectations, including conducting service reviews, contract reviews, SLA reviews, and amendments
  • Develop and maintain relationships, helping the teams with issue escalation, issue resolution, and kaizen the supplier engagement process
  • Assist the teams with finding common ground with our suppliers on issues of pricing and performance Support strategic sourcing initiatives related to outsourcing services Provide guidance to the teams on good supplier management practices and promote a healthy engagement with the suppliers, focusing on obtaining the best value from our engagement
  • Develop and deliver effective executive level communication regarding supplier engagement

  • A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated functional work experience in supplier management with a preference for managing supplier engagements for software maintenance and/or development
  • High-level communication skills to influence and persuade others Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA and IT related work experience. Experience with software maintenance and/or development
  • PMP or Scrum Certification
