CoE Lead - Plano, TX
  • Work across Company Technology Projects to engage the right resources at the right time to ensure quality artifacts are created under the projects
  • Provide input and Subject matter expertise to Technology Projects on Scope management and requirements management best practices and processes
  • Provide input on Requirements management tools used on projects
  • Identify, Recommend, adopt and Implement Requirements Management industry best practices and tools within TFS
  • Works with PMO/ PM CoE to oversee and govern the quality of requirements artifacts across all projects
  • Participate in PMO Project review gates as SME for requirements artifacts
  • Follow-up with each Project leadership to ensure that Requirements deliverables remain within TFS quality Standards
  • Work with BTS (Business Technology solution) leads to promote Requirements best practices
  • Track Technology projects Scope volatility, report to and engage cross organization leaders to improve the process
  • Ensure Technology projects have solid requirements/ scope management process, aligned architectural view and E2E traceability
  • Works closely with QA CoE and PM CoE to align strategies
  • Keep the Requirements CoE Sharepoint, documentations and processes up to date
  • Create user training material on Requirements CoE practices, processes, tools and techniques
  • Provide classroom and one-on-one training to the project teams

  • Business Analyst/Project Management experience with large technology implementations
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall projects
  • In-depth subject matter expertise on Scope management, Requirements management tools, processes and best practices
  • Technical Acumen
  • Ability to work at both detail and high level
  • Ability to communicate to multiple audiences
  • Work across organization to ensure that all components supporting the end-to-end objective/requirement have been assigned
  • Must Haves:
    • Project Management experience and skills (Agile and Waterfall)
    • Technical acumen
    • Strong Communication skills
    • Ability to drive across multiple stakeholder organizations
    • Experience modeling strategy and recommendations
    • Great presentation skills
    • In-depth understanding and experience on Scope management, Requirements management tools and techniques
    • In-depth understanding of business architecture and Business process mapping
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite 2010 (Excel, PowerPoint and Visio included)
    • Direct hands on experience working with Waterfall and Agile project methodology
  • Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
    • PMP
    • Scrum Master
    • Lean / Six Sigma
