Sales Assistant / Support Admin

Pay Rate: $24/hr

The Sales Support / Assistant will work with the territory sales manager. Being the first point of contact with our distribution partners and potential customers.  Register and manage leads, create quote and do follow up with the end user / distributor partners. Schedule conference calls, customer visits, answer costumer/ distributor requests to help make sales. Organize and coordinate product presentation and seminars. Acknowledge customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls. Support trade show logistic. Other administrative tasks.

Will work out of an office or home office during regular business hours. However, overtime may be required at time as well as some travel for trade shows and events. 

Tasks to perform:

  • Register leads in CRM from customer or distributor partners.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with our distribution partners.
  • Verify and confirm info from the lead registration requests.
  • Contact customers and ask questions about the project in order to quote the right product. Complete the info needed and establish a relationship.
  • Create quotes and discuss pricing strategy with the territory sales manager.
  • Send further documents according to customer or distributor request.
  • Contact customers shortly after they received their quote to make sure it matches their needs and keep on building relationship with us.
  • Schedule territory sales manager conf. call or customer on site visit, to review the offer and establish a relationship.
  • Create reports and prepare calls with territory sales manager to overview the past present and future actions.
  • Review marketing documents.
  • Create and adapt product and company presentation.
  • Work on the logistics for trade shows.

 

 

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (English).
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Self motivated with a desire to learn.
  • Computer skills, specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Power point and CRM. Zoho CRM experience is preferred, but not required.
  • A positive ambassador for the brand, the strategy and the organization
  • Understand and document the Sales process.
  • Proven track record for building strong, working relationships with nationwide distributors, customers, and team members.
  • Adapts easily to different situations and people.
  • Team work.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Well-organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • A good sense of humour
  • 10% of the position involves travel for Distributor sales meetings and exhibitions.
  • High School Diploma (GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
